Arrival — Imlil
Upon arrival at Marrakech Menara Airport, you are welcomed by your Atlas Dream team before setting off on a scenic 1.5-hour drive into the High Atlas Mountains. As the plains fade, the road climbs into fresh mountain air and cedar-lined valleys, arriving in the village of Imlil at the foot of Mount Toubkal. After bike fitting and a detailed safety briefing, enjoy an optional warm-up ride on gentle terramic tracks around the village — a relaxed introduction to the terrain and rhythm of the mountains. Begin your first full riding day cycling into the Imnane Valley, following wide, compact dirt tracks that climb gradually through open landscapes and remote Berber villages. The ascent toward Tacheddirt rewards you with sweeping mountain views and a sense of high-altitude serenity. From the valley’s upper reaches, enjoy a long, flowing descent on terramic pistes toward Asni, passing terraced fields, rivers, and village paths where daily life unfolds quietly along the trail. The ride concludes near the shores of Lalla Takerkoust Lake, where the blue waters contrast beautifully with the surrounding hills.
